I've been playing piano for 45 years. My first recital was given at age 7.
Even though my job is not related to music, I still have an outlet for creativity. I play piano at my church on Sundays and am thankful for this opportunity.
I enjoy being a piano accompanist and have had many years of experience in this area. I attended high school in Australia and became the School Pianist while there. I had the chance to accompany other instrumentalists, choir, madrigals and orchestra. When we returned to the U.S., I attended Harbor College and took performance piano classes where I not only played solo pieces but also performed the Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms (4 hands, one piano) with the late Larry Wong who was the school's accompanist at the time.
Following that, I accompanied one of the Miss California competitors at a local event. In addition, I have accompanied voilin and flute students during practice sessions and during their music exams.
Although I work during the week, I would be happy to accompany you for your practice sessions or for recitals. My preference leans to classical music.
